SAVE A STRAY

DONATE NOW!

Welcome to Band City Stray Cat Rescue and Protection Society (SCRAPS) in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan

Supporting Feral Cats

SCRAPS Moose Jaw is an animal welfare organization dedicated to helping animals, specifically focusing on the feral (Community) cat population. It is important to note that SCRAPS Moose Jaw's services solely extend to feral/community cats and do not extend to domesticated/tame cats in need of rehoming or adoption.

Feral cats are typically those who have had little to no contact with humans and cannot be easily handled or socialized. These cats are often born and live outdoors and tend to be fearful of human interaction.

SCRAPS Moose Jaw Kitten and Cat Adoption

Why Adopt from SCRAPS?

Adopting from SCRAPS Moose Jaw is a win-win situation. When you choose to adopt from us, you're not only giving a needy cat a new home and a chance at a better life, but you're also helping to reduce the stray cat population in the community.

Our low adoption fees make it even easier for you to bring home a new furry friend, and by doing so, you're freeing up valuable foster space for us to care for even more cats in need.

You will change the life of a deserving cat that without you would life a life of hardship.

We have a large number of cats available for adoption from kittens, adults, bonded pairs, special needs and seniors looking for their forever homes.

Our adoptable cats will be live on our page soon!  Check back to view all our kitties online.

Our volunteers help with a variety of tasks, including fostering and feeding colony cats, fundraising, administration, assisting with adoptions and events. We provide all necessary training and support to ensure you have a positive experience with us. Contact us to learn more about how you can get involved in our life-saving mission.
