Description
Mission Statement To reduce the at-large feral cat population in Moose Jaw through primarily non-lethal control; to stabilize the feral cat population in the community; and to promote responsible pet ownership and compassion for feral cats in the community.
Band City Stray Cat Rescue and Protection Society Inc. (SCRAPS) is a non-profit organization of concerned volunteers who are committed to stabilizing the feral cat population in the City of Moose Jaw through primarily non-lethal methods. We support feral cat colonies by providing shelters, feeders, and follow-up medical care as required. We promote compassion for feral cats by educating the public about the important role feral cats play in controlling the rodent population. We work with other agencies to find home for those cats identified as adoptable. We promote responsible pet ownership by educating the public about the importance of spaying/neutering pets.
We humanely trap feral cats, neuter/spay and vaccinate, and then release healthy animals back into the community.

SCRAPS TNR program works to reduce/stabilize the feral Cat population in our community.
SCRAPS (Band City Stray Cat Rescue and Protection Society Inc.)is a non profit organization run by concerned & compassionate “volunteers” who are committed to improving the lives of Community Cats.
SCRAPS humanely captures feral Cats, completes spay/neuters, provides vaccines including rabies, microchips & treats any obvious injuries/infections. Healthy Cats are then released back to their outdoor homes where they remain part of our program into the future.
SCRAPS supports Community Cat colonies by providing food/water, shelter & follow up medical care as required.
SCRAPS promotes compassion for feral Cats by educating our communities about the very important role our Cat neighbours play in controlling the rodent population. We are their voice ……
SCRAPS promotes responsible pet ownership by educating our communities about the vital importance of spaying & neutering our pets.
SCRAPS thanks our many supporters, sponsors & partners for helping us help homeless Cats since 2011! We look forward to seeing continuing positive changes for Cats in all our communities……
